Show room (3Dshow)

Description

3Dshow allows putting the software in the demonstration mode. In this mode the 3D model is explored various manners.

The show room is launched with the button in the toolbar.

Tree

When the showroom is activated a tab is inserted in the tree with the icon .

This tab allows changing the showroom behavior.

Rotation mode

In this mode, the camera turns around the model on its bounding sphere.

Option:

• Altitude
  if this option is checked, the altitude of the camera change in a cyclic way.
   

Highlight

In this mode, the parts of the scene are randomly highlighted.

Options:

• Move on
  The camera is moved near the highlighted object in an animated way.
   
• Object name
  The name of the highlighted object is displayed in a small tool tip.
   
• X ray
  All the objects but the highlighted object are transparently displayed as if they are seen with X rays.
   
• Outline
  All the objects but the highlighted object are displayed with their outlines.
   
• Hidden
  All the objects are hidden excepted the highlighted object.
   

Random mode

In this mode, the camera is randomly moved on the scene bounding sphere.

Speed

The animation speed can be set here.

Three speeds are available: slow, middle, fast.

When this option is checked, the camera can be moved bellow the considered object.

This option can be not adequate in certain circumstances, as in architecture for example.
